Auron MacIntyre urges gamers to vote for Marty O’Donnell
Marty O’Donnell is the Republican nominee in Nevada’s 3rd District, tying his call to turn gamers’ frustration into a movement to a congressional race.

Auron MacIntyre urged his followers on X to “Go vote for Marty,” calling the rise of gamers as a political bloc “wild.”1 MacIntyre posted Oct. 15, a day after Marty O'Donnell wrote, “Gamers are not woke.”2 The Associated Press reports that O’Donnell won the Republican nomination3 for the U.S. House in Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District.

Posting as @MartyTheElder on Oct. 14, O’Donnell linked gamers’ frustration with left-wing politics in entertainment to his call for a political movement. He said opponents call gamers “chuds” to demoralize them, and he proposed taking the label back: “I say we take that label and use it for good.”1 In the post, O’Donnell wrote, “Lets build a political movement to take back our games and our country.” The post carried a video and showed 315.9K views2.
Federal Election Commission records list O'Donnell as a Republican challenger in Nevada House District 3, with his statement of candidacy filed May 6, 2026. Through June 30, his authorized committees reported $4,055,410.28 in total receipts. Most of that money came from O'Donnell himself, who lent his campaign $3,000,000. Individual contributions totaled $362,261.08. Other committees gave $271,905.38, and party committees gave nothing. The filing shows no repayments on that loan, and the campaign reported $2,409,434.24 in cash on hand at the end of June. O'Donnell also sponsors a leadership PAC, the Hardworking Americans Love Opportunity PAC, known as HALO PAC4.
The FEC's summary combines four authorized committees, led by Marty for Congress, the principal campaign committee. Those committees reported total disbursements of $1,645,976.04 for the period, including $1,306,419.69 in operating expenditures. As of June 30, the committees owed $3,000,000 in debts or loans4.
O’Donnell’s post calls for a movement “to take back our games and our country”2; Nevada families in the 3rd District should ask him where he stands on all three issues before they vote.
