The House approved a continuing resolution funding government through December 11, dodging a pre-election shutdown. It also passed a resolution condemning socialism — one 192 House Democrats voted against.
Lawmakers canceled the rest of September's session. They'll be back in districts campaigning until after Election Day.
The DOJ also reported this week that the FBI under Biden partnered with the Southern Poverty Law Center to spy on traditional Catholics, flagging them for "hardline positions" on LGBTQ matters.
