Rand Paul on X: According to David Morens’ own plea, the goal was to restore a terminated bat coronavirus grant and counter the narrative that COVID leaked from a lab. He did that by writing in a prominent medical journal arguing COVID had natural origins. Then he received illegal gratuities, in the form of wine and Michelin dinners, for his writing. Now the question becomes: could his plea involve implicating Anthony Fauci?
