HAGEMAN BILL TAXES COLLEGES THAT SIDELINE FEMALE ATHLETES FOR MEN...
Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) introduced a bill today hitting private colleges that let males compete in women's sports with an excise tax equal to 10% of their entire intercollegiate athletics budget — and the Secretary of Education writes rules so schools can't shift the cost onto tuition. Hageman: "Every man who takes the field against a woman is stealing a roster spot, scholarship, and potential championship from a young woman who earned it."
Terry Schilling, backing the bill: "Only on a college campus could something as ridiculous as transgender ideology flourish. Radical gender ideology must be eliminated root and branch, and there's no better place to start than our poisoned Ivies. College administrators can continue to play dumb when it comes to biological sex or protecting women on campus, but it is going to cost them." Despite Trump's executive order and NCAA policy changes, men keep surfacing on women's teams. Make it cost them. Hageman.house.gov →
