TEXAS PD WALKS BACK THREATS AGAINST CHRISTIAN STREET PREACHERS AT PRIDE...
Austin police threatened to arrest Christian street preachers at a Pride festival for quoting the Bible. Officers claimed their words could spark violence and ordered them to stop. After the confrontation video spread, the department walked back the threats and admitted the preachers were within their rights. The First Amendment still applies even when it offends the rainbow crowd.
