SCOTUS upheld Texas' age verification law for porn sites in a 6-3 ruling last June. 24 states now require proof of age before kids can access hardcore material. APP's February 2026 Cygnal poll shows 81% of voters back porn age verification — with 66% strongly in favor, the most intense support in the survey. 83% also back app store age verification, including 80% of Democrats. These laws shield children's innocence from an industry that profits by exposing them early.
